DOES FOOT PAIN EVER ROB YOUR JOY?  WOULD YOU LIKE A SOLUTION?

I try to write my blogs with everyday practical applications.  Over the past 3 or 4 weeks I had been experiencing much pain in my left foot.  When I compensated for that, pain found it’s way to my right foot as well.  This has happened to me occasionally for over 60 years.   Like most human beings, we usually don’t do anything to change or research things until we have enough pain that we determine that we no longer want to keep doing what brings that much discomfort.
With that in mind, at 3:00AM one night a couple of weeks ago the pain was so great that through doing some Google research I discovered that I had Plantar Fasciitis and there are permanent cures for it.  Why did it take me 68 years to find this out?  It is for that reason that I decided to focus this blog on this topic so that if you haven’t yet discovered these things, perhaps you can cure or prevent foot pain that may plague you.

If you are interested in learning how to treat and prevent Plantar Fasciitis, here are a few things you may want to consider…

The compression socks started giving immediate some immediate relief.  The Plantar Fasciitis Solution exercises helped me immensely within a week.

For me, doing these things started bringing much more joy as my feet began to heal.  Maybe you have enough pain to take these steps as well.  I promise that it will bring more joy to your life!  When you have joy, everything is better including your purpose and motivation.

DO YOU BELIEVE THIS SHORT BLOG TO BE TRUE?

In our culture, doesn’t it seem that it’s easier to see what is wrong with other people than it is to see what’s right with them?  And doesn’t that unintentionally draw us into judging them?

A quick Google search on the topic why people judge others yielded many well-known writers and people indicating the same concept, “When you judge another, you do not define them.  You define yourself”.  This seems to come from our insecurity and ego of wanting to place ourselves above others by pulling them down.  Isn’t it hard to build trust with another person if they feel judged by you or you feel judged by them?

Sure there are times that we genuinely want others to improve.  So how do we do it without judging?  Isn’t it all about our motives?  Judging tears another person down.   On the other hand, if we first self examine ourselves and take on the cloak of humility, our desire to reach out to another person will take on the nature of simply wanting the very best for them.  It is much more gentle and constructive, isn’t it?

If you believe in the truth of the Bible, we’re given these instructions… "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.”

As Rick Warren says, “Pride destroys and humility builds up”.  Doesn’t it make sense that when we approach life without judgment and live with humility that we will experience much more peace and joy in our lives?  And the people that we interact with will also.

LOOK FOR THE GOOD IN OTHERS!

WOULD YOU LIKE TO IMPROVE?

Life continues to teach me invaluable lessons.  You may know that I have been dealing with severe Tracheal-Bronchitis for around 6 months.  It went undiagnosed for a long period of time.  Everyday it just got worse no matter what medication I was taking.

Finally I was able to get an appointment with a Pulmonary Care Specialist that immediately diagnosed my problem and put me on fairly aggressive medications.  Just having a real diagnosis and a planned attack was like a miracle to my mind and soul.  It gave me hope for the future.

Another thing happened at the same time.  Every day instead of focusing on what was wrong, I began by simply looking for 1% improvement in any area such as coughing, strength, and rest.  When I was able to do this, it filled me with THANKFULNESS for life and breath.  We are told in The Word, that when we are thankful in all things, we will be given peace in all circumstances.  I’m finding that to be very true.

So if you would like to see improvement in any part of your life whether it is in relationships, work, or life in general, just look for little gains each day and focus on thankfulness.  It might be 2 steps forward, 1 step back, and then 2 more steps forward.  When we expect too much, we can easily get discouraged.

IMPROVEMENT:  By the yard is hard.  By the inch, it’s an cinch!
